Sam Smith is no longer that boy who got lost crying "late at night". He has found the "emotion" of life. This suggests the title of their new album, 'The Thrill of it All', that leaves the 3 of November, has appeared with the gospel 'Too Good at Goodbyes' and of which they have also revealed cover and tracklist, that you see under these lines.
Smith presents 'The Thrill of It All' on Friday with a new gospel, simply titled 'Pray', in which he sings about falling short of words to the injustices of the world, so he can only "pray". Smith laments: "I am young and silly, and I have made bad decisions, I turn off the news and I turn my back on religion, I have no career and I am a little naive, I have come this far alone." Will Smith refer to his blunder at the Oscars last year?
The singer, however, finds a turning point in his life and sings: "lately, this shit has not made me grow, I lift my head and the world is burning, there is horror in my heart and fear in my bones, and no I know what to say ... so I pray. " And Smith prays and prays accompanied by his choristers in this song which, incidentally, is co-produced by Timbaland and Smith's regular collaborator, Jimmy Napes.
